Our olive oil is made from fruits originating from old olive trees that we discovered on our land in 1998 just below our vineyards. Since they have not been cultivated for some years, they could hardly be distinguished from the surrounding macchia. After we’ve cut them clear, they started to produce olives again. Harvest takes place in late autum and the olives are cold-pressed in a local oil mill in Magliano.
Due to a velvet and nutlike flavor our olive oil is well suited for marinating meat and vegetable as well as for refining salads, cold dishes and freshly made pasta.
